Little "Dragon" Revived

Draft inks and colors on a revived character from a previous comic strip. He refused to stay in his own genre and has now worked his way into an in-progress children's book. I'm still experimenting with layers and coloring in Inkscape, but I'm getting the hang of it and tutorials are helpful.

Moving FAST for the Checkered...Flag? (Illustration Friday)

Finally got around to inking and coloring an old sketch. Thanks again to the illustrator who pointed me toward Inkscape. It's the program I've been searching for and has all the features I wanted and needed.

The Fish Race is my submission for this week's Illustration Friday topic - FAST.

Skunk Work Continues

Prelim sketch of a panel starring The Skunk of Skunk Works and his Female Friend. (Names have been omitted to protect the innocent.) I've started sketching further panels and pages in my Moleskin and something about that inspirational black book and the manageable page size has increased my art output. Maybe there's a reason Picasso and others used the little book so often.
