More Festive!

Great times at SkunkFest 2010! Thanks for everyone who stopped by and bought copies of the comic strip collection, Ramone coloring book, and custom SkunkFest and Ramone paintings and mini-cards. I met so many skunk fans and enjoyed learning more about skunks. The contests and vendors were excellent and the appreciation shown toward Ramone was really encouraging. I'm already looking forward to next year's Fest! Enjoy a few pictures of some of the attendees who stopped by to visit Ramone's table.

SkunkFest Anticipation

There are so many little things to get ready for this weekend's SkunkFest, I know I'm going to forget something. I've got Ramone books and art supplies ready for the trip. Lots of promotional goodies. What's that one thing I'll wish I had on Saturday that I can't think of right now?

Skunk Fest 2010

Ramone is packing his bags for his first trip to Ohio, for the 10th Annual SkunkFest! If you're in the area, stop by and pick up a copy of the Ramone Cologne comic strip collection, Issue 1, also, the exclusive SkunkFest Ramone Cologne coloring book, and drawings/paintings of random skunkiness. Bringing Brilliant Techni-Color to Ramone Cologne

Paint is flying as Ramone Cologne, Issue 1, gets its watercolor treatment this week! I've done older Ramone artwork with digital coloring, but I have to say watercolor painting is my new favorite. The options are endless, the mixing process is fun, and the final look of watercolor is why I chose it in the first place. I lay out all the pages with common elements and paint all the recurring characters and scenery in one sitting, so I don't have to remix colors later. This also makes me feel like I'm getting more done - "almost four pages painted tonight!"
